A TENSIONER TO SUIT ALL KINDS OF CARGO

The TU tensioner has been designed to secure all types of heavy cargo, whether it be timber or any other type of goods being transported. Air-operated release of the mechanism in the tensioner is available as an accessory. With this option, the tensioner can be disengaged at the touch of a button from inside the cab or by using a remote control. It expands the scope of application, for example, when the tensioner is located below a flatbed/box where accessibility is not great. The tensioner can be manually operated when necessary.

Automatic post-tensioning
Regardless of how much the timber settles during transportation, the automatic post-tensioner will maintain the necessary lashing required for maximum safety.

With an anodized aluminum chassis and stainless steel side-plates, the TU tensioner will retain its attractive finish for a long time.

TU has a tractive force of up to 2,204 lbs (1,000 kg). The tractive force is tailored to meet the differing needs of each market.

Flexible assembly
The TU tensioner has been designed for mounting on both frames and bunks, but also below things like flatbeds and boxes.

Broken/worn straps
Easily replaced thanks to Exte’s original straps with plastic pins. Normally this takes about 2 minutes – even with gloves on.

Simple mechanics
For minimum downtime, the TU uses simple mechanics and has few moving parts.

Minimal maintenance
The tensioner’s components have a long service life and require very little maintenance and just a standard level of attention.

Simple components
The tensioner is based on simple components that are easy to replace.

Right-hand or left-hand assembly
Strap drums and release levers can be mounted on the left-hand or right-hand side of the tensioner.

Several different mounts
There are a number of different mounts, which allows for flexible installation even in the tight spaces between mudguards or below flatbeds or boxes.
